It has been a little while, though nothing much has happened except the usual hustle and bustle in medical school, you know, hustling to clerk patients, hustling to present them, reading, resting and bustling about other activities.

I have tried to cut off my activities. Better put, the staggered resumption system of schools post-covid has helped to cut down my activities so that I have more time to read and more time to rest when I’m not reading. I still deliberately create time to chill, relax and hangout with friends, because in the long run, my relationships are important and cherished too.

But really, has anyone else noticed that the gates of hell have been opened from wherever? Like I’m pretty sure that transportation fare from where I am to hell is 10 naira.
My God, what kind of heat is this?

I don’t sweat, I pour, literally.
I’m sure a quarter of my body has liquefied.
Hmm. And to think March is just beginning.
I won’t be surprised if I wake up baked one day or if someone mixes dough and sets it apart only to realise on returning that it has been fully baked into bread.

What a weather!

One of my lecturers who was new at the time used to wonder how students read in this environment. Well, we really don’t have much of a choice.

Anyway, good news.

I’m 1.3kg above my ideal body weight.

This places me on a good track to attain my target of 60kg by June(which is 6kg less than my ideal body weight).

But to think I’ve lost 3kg in a month? That’s priceless.

Have a splendid week ahead.
