Talk about sisterhood, sharing, communion and the vibes. These were all my experiences at the EIM North-Central hangout.
We all left our utmost busy schedules to unwind and in the process, found ourselves encouraging each other.
I got to meet my big sisters in the field through whom I could visualize a part of my not-so-distant future. I got to hear their stories and passions first hand, their achievements so far and their dreams and aspirations.
Echoes of successes were all around us.
And it wasn’t really just about the hangout because this has been my story all the while I’ve been in EIM. It has been a wholesome learning experience for me; the mentoring, prunning, prodding and “gingering”, all to help me see the greatness within, the achievements I’ve recorded and the heights waiting to be attained in the future.
It is said that to see far, one must stand on the shoulders of giants.
EIM has been that giant for me. She has also been a mother, a shoulder to lean and cry on, a consolation.
It isn’t often that one comes across love like this. I found myself pouring out my heart to total strangers and it didn’t feel wrong, because I knew that the love was genuine and still is.
I will gladly travel over and again to experience this all over again.

Wow. This is simply beautiful. It captures the essence of the time we shared during the hangout and resonates with me. Thanks for capturing that moment into this wonderful piece.
