To the heroes not wearing capes, thank you

To the late night guardian angels, transfusing blood to dying patients, serving medications, passing catheters to relieve obstruction or monitor urine output, thank you.

To the warriors in the theatre, using every incision, stitch and effort to ensure that the relatives waiting outside smile when they are told that the surgery was successful, thank you.

To the safe hands that pull out stuck babies, lovingly encouraging the mother to push and not give up, making sure both mother and baby are fine, thank you.

To the happy faces that look upon children with love, listen to their tiny voices and know exactly how to make them feel better, thank you.

To the heroes that take out limbs, fungating tissue, unhealthy organs and assure their patients that being alive is better that holding on to a body part that will eventually kill them, thank you.

For the angels that hold their patient’s hands every step of the way as they battle cancer, thank you.

To all DR SAINTS, HAPPY DOCTORS DAY.
