It was a late afternoon when Charisa had just left Femi’s house or rather, stormed out of his house after she beheld a most awful sight. All that ran through her mind was “why?”, why did this have to happen to her. She wasn’t the best of people but she was a good person, at least she tried to be good.She just couldn’t shake off the gory picture of Femi, being intimate with her best friend, she trusted them both. She thought they were her perfect haven but now it was clear to her that she just kept going from bad to worse. Could she ever get anything right? She sat on this bike, and even though the rider was on a high speed an squeezing between a car and a truck to just to get ahead of them, she hardly noticed as her mind was preoccupied with finding a reason why she had such I’ll luck. Suddenly, everything went dark. It seemed like she could hear a multitude of people speaking afar off, but she couldn’t make out anything that they said.Soon, she couldn’t hear them again, now she could see or hear.No pain, no sight and no sound, but her mind was wide awake and her heart pounded against the surface she was so as if to burrow a hole through it.Then, everything went still…
